The Course

Built for the Game

The Iron and The Eagle is designed to reward thoughtful play. Mature trees separate the fairways, giving each hole its own character and creating the feeling of having the course to yourself. From the straight 416-yard second hole to the dogleg on Hole 3 and the challenging finish on Hole 9, golfers encounter a variety of shots throughout their round.

Our Story

Ray Had a Dream

He saw it before it was.

Ray and Susan purchased their first property in Orangeville in 1970 before moving to a larger property in Mono. Beginning in 1988, they and their son Bill spent evenings and weekends transforming the property while continuing to work full-time. They learned as they went, sought advice, worked through mistakes and kept building through rain, long weekends and changing seasons.

In 2003, that dream became The Iron and The Eagle. Today, Ray and Susan continue to own and operate the course they built — a family property created through determination and a love for the game.
